My Friend Jo has just graduated. Here is her final collection. I personally think its amazing. She has done so much in a year, this time last year me and her were rummaging through dodgy fabric shops in Shepards Bush as she tried to plan her collection. Very proud of her.

Also this week we hosted our ‘Christmas In July’ Arcadia Group Press Day. All the Christmas collections look amazing. Lots of knits, lots of black, lots of velvet. I particularly loved the Topman Collection. All the knits look so cozy and like something that has been passed down through generations or it’s this kind of thing you take from your boyfriend, and never want to return.
I always say I hate winter, but I think its the best time of year for fashion and dressing up.

As an intern I rarely get invited to events such as these, so its fair to say I was very excited when I was asked to go to Soho House, London, a members only club, to watch Jonathon Saunders get interviewed for Harpers Bazaar. I went with Nene, the director of Impulse PR and Rahki, the sales executive for Hugo boss Black.
Jonathon Saunders, told us all about his early career, how he got started, where he finds inspiration, collections he has hated (Spring 2005), and how he took a £1 mega bus from Scotland to his Central St Martins interview. It was quite inspirational, and I look forward to seeing more Jonathon Saunders collections.
At the end we went and said hello, and introduced ourselves, and as we were leaving he told me ‘good luck’. Little bit star struck, I must say.

Tonight I am attending Lucy Yeoman (Editor In Cheif at Harpers Bazaar) interviewing Jonathan Saunders.

I’m so excited. Such a good opportunity.
